Board Games
We are studying Instruction writing this week, as part of this we will be looking at Board Game Instructions. Looking at the work from Itea in Greece we have posted ourselves playing a game called 'Achi' from Ghana in West Africa. It is a simple game needing only a board and 4 sets of counters each. You play by placing your counters in turn on the board where 2 lines at least join. You then take it in turns to move counters along lines until one player has 3 in a row ( this wins the game ). We played best of 5 wins. Tomorrow we will be playing a game called Nine Men's Morris which is a very old 'English' board game. We will post the board and rules soon.

Very good idea to post the board and rules. This way we can try each other's games in our classes and promote intercultural relationships.
I would like to suggest to sign our posts because it is not always obvious who writes and where from.
